What is Velpaget ?

Velpaget ( Sofosbuvir 400mg + Velpatasvir 100mg ) is a prescription medicine used to treat adults with chronic (lasting a long time) hepatitis C (Hep C) genotype 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 infection with or without cirrhosis (compensated). In those with advanced cirrhosis (decompensated), Velpaget is used with Ribavirin .

What Are Side Effects of Velpaget?

Common side effects of Velpaget include:

Some patients taking this medicine may experience blood dyscrasias (blood disorders), anorexia, weight loss, insomnia, depression, anxiety, agitation, headache, dizziness, migraine, attention disturbances, blurred vision, cough, stomach upset or rash. If you experience any of these symptoms please consult your doctor.

Velpaget During Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Velpaget is not recommended for use during pregnancy. It is also not recommended for men whose female partners are pregnant. It is unknown if Velpaget passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.
